Corfiot on Nostr: Victim mentality for the kids, thinking of them in terms of inevitable things ...
Victim mentality for the kids, thinking of them in terms of inevitable things happening to them and them needing support. If that terminology bugs you, try 'negative approach'. You're assuming kids that start this gender business have a reason, while I propose that 99% of the time they don't. And for the other 1%, evaluate conservatively on a per case basis.
I'm not "crying" about anything. I live in Greece and I can tell you that transgenderism here was practically non-existent until we started importing american culture. Now many kids are doing the "trans emo" thing. Your demographic simply isn't that large and most definitely does not merit the special consideration being afforded to it versus e.g. homelessness or poverty. It's become a trend and this prevents us from dealing with this correctly and is becoming dangerous, especially because anyone disagreeing with the gender affirmation narrative is considered hateful when the flagrant majority of people do not "buy it".
It's a sad state of affairs but your community is being exploited to promote victim culture and glorification, suppress dissenting thought and dismantle society by reality denial. Your chimerical privileged-oppressed status will not last for very long. Those that loudly exclaim they're on your side are going to abandon you when you stop being useful to their narrative. Just like they did with the homosexuals and women/feminists already. This is why this "harming by existing" business is nonsensical and against your group's interests. Trying to force it down people's throats is the reason this is backfiring on you already.
As long as you don't try to promote gender theory and transgenderism on my theoretical kids and my community, I don't care what you do. I even tolerate the grotesque appearance of most in your group because I know very well that if you begin transitioning early you'll "pass" more, which is something I don't want (for your and everyone's sake). So I don't hate on you for not passing, so as not to encourage the much worse alternative: more early transitioners. Besides, it seems cruel to make your predicament worse by insulting your appearance.
If disagreeing with gender theory and "affirming" kids' gender fantasies planted into their minds by school, media, corporations and activists makes me insane, I guess I'm insane. I've been called worse. I'll survive.
