Its a weird thing with relays.
Its a very wide guess, but what might have happened:
1) when you logged in, nostrnests couldn't find your profile data so it looked through multiple relays
2) It found older profile data on a relay that didn't update to your most recent one
3) rather than go through the looking process again which takes some time, it published your profile relays that it usually looks through to be faster. This creates a new profile event
4) your normal relays on Damus found this "new profile" and updated because was published most recently.
