Why is it okay that open source software doesn't usually distribute the licenses of its dependencies?
For example most CLI software provides no way to see the licenses of whatever packages it imports, despite this being a license requirement in most cases, like MIT. Am I missing something, or is it just that no one is litigious enough to change this?
