You're free to disregard my suggestion and carry on defining what/who is and is not cool. But that isn't why I use alt text. As I stated in my OP, coolness is of no importance to me.
I am the antithesis of cool--as well as etiquette and popularity. Such things are not reliable. I rely on relationship, kindness and empathy to guide me.
