This sounds silly to even ask, but why does Japan like to label food with the word「おいしい」(delicious)? As in「おいしいスパゲッティ」(Delicious Spaghetti) or「おいしい牛乳」(Delicious Milk). It seems so... on the nose? Like... uncreative? Why not just “milk.” Does “delicious milk” sell better? I feel like there must be a reason.
