There is a really funny account of Quakers showing up in NYC and everyone is terrified of them. The Quakers are coming on a boat and the people of NYC (New Amsterdaam) are particularly concerned they might show up and ... start quaking.
... And then to everyone's horror this is exactly what happens. (though the account might be something of a screed, it's pretty wild, so IDK if it happened like that)
But the quaking had power, hence I say bring it back.
