Yesterday at Maker Faire I got to see people I haven’t seen in years. Sadly one has terminal cancer and not much time left, and another told me their fiancé died a few months ago.
I offered what sympathy and condolences I could, but it’s so fucking heartbreaking and makes you feel so helpless.
