I just committed another microphone cable to my cable graveyard.
To get good field recordings from my iPhone while biking and running (=wind), I use a RØDE microvideo microphone with its furry windshield, which is great.
The problem is the cable. It starts intermittently cutting out after a few months and needs replacing.
I've tried several brands now. Some are better than others, but none last more than a few months of daily use.
Any better ideas?
