The greatest problem in computer science is estimating software installation time. I just watched my brand new, 2024 MacBook Pro go from 3 hours, to 2 hours and 45 minutes, to 2 hours and 43 minutes, to 56 minutes, to "about a minute" in the course of an hour... and that's where we've been for the last several minutes.
