Problem is, Bitcoin is the new CBDC. If you want something better than Monero is the way to go. As soon as US will go all in into Bitcoin they will monitor everything and try to control it as much as they can. No government will invest billions of dollars in something without to have some kind if control. With more govs in Bitcoin it gets worse.
With Samourai the last privscy fighters are fallen so now you have a full transparent ledger without privacy. In the EU they are forcing all custodians to do KYC, that will also affect LSPs etc. That was the way which Bitcoiners celebrate since some years now.
