My hot take on the pardons:

I want that same energy form the people that say, "Why do you need to be private if you have nothing to hide!" for these pardons. If no crimes have been committed then why do you need a pardon?

I also thought pardons were generally for those who have been wrongfully convicted or unfair punishment. Boy was I wrong.
