Dear friends: today I come here with an urgent request for you. Last week, I learned that I am being prosecuted in Brazil for "obvious act of transphobia" when I wrote a journalistic article where I refer to an adult male individual as "A man who calls himself 'trans'". This individual, who adopted the name Kim Flores Carlos, marked a waxing at an institute that only did female waxing, and when they refused the service for safety, since they could have even injured Kim without the correct training, Kim sued the institute, alleging transphobia. As far as I know, the institute won this lawsuit, so now Kim came after me and the site/blog Medium, where the subject in Portuguese was published. I received the notification last week and the very next day, Medium SUSPENDED my account, making all of my journalistic work invisible to the public, not just the matter in question. I'm getting ready to defend myself from these charges and I need to raise the funds to pay a lawyer. Thus, those and those who can help me, I kindly ask you to buy, or recommend my books here, which can be found on the Authors Club website. From Authors Club, there are other shopping options like Amazon, Virtual Shelf, American Stores, etc. If you can, share, recommend, make suggestions in libraries to buy the books.
