I've avoided using ChatGPT so far because of the negative environmental impacts (not to mention intellectual theft). Now I'm wondering if I should make a one time exception to bolster my job prospects.

It's been suggested that AI can help improve your résumé. Does anyone have any firsthand knowledge on the topic? Since automated systems evaluate résumés, maybe a computer assisted writing process has merit.
