i spend more time trying to figure out nostr NIPs these days than i do trying to keep track of inventions in L2s... i'm especially disinterested in state channels, rollups and anchors, because they have all been done to death for about 5 years at least
mass adoption has nothing to do with technicalities, except in as much as the technology is easily deployed and resistant to abuse, and has enough marketing to get a critical mass
