I keep thinking about PE takeovers and how they invariably seem to fuck over everyone in search of profitability. But I'm not sure what the alternative space is here--Container Store ran out of money. It could shut down, which puts all its employees out of work, and puts pressure on suppliers, which might hurt workers there too. Does this sort of bankruptcy + recapitalization offer a softer landing for workers? I dunno. :-/
