I've been playing with 0xChat, a chat application built on nostr, and have to say that the experience is pretty great for where it's at in it's lifecycle.
Having the ability to spin up your own node and host chats and channels in the app is one of the better privacy oriented experiences you could have. Especially with no registration required and encrypted messages.
As development continues, I can see this application rivaling apps like Matrix, SimpleX, and Session.
