Here’s the story of how a small group of detrans TERFs managed to influence WPATH and infiltrate the first USPATH conference after I was contacted by a gender therapist who believed that there were “too many FtMS” in the SF Bay area. She wanted to use our stories to push for more psychological assessments and we wanted to use her to reduce the number of people transitioning and find ways to disrupt the “gender industry” from the inside. Meanwhile we were connecting with Dianic witches and taking part in neo-pagan rituals that melted our brains, to the point where we believed we were engaging in “spiritual warfare” against WPATH. It’s a case study of how an alt-health ex-trans cult manipulated a transphobic therapist into spreading our theories to members of WPATH.

Some of these same detrans TERFs and one of their fellow travelers Carey Callahan just testified in OH against HB 68. That doesn’t mean they’ve changed their opposition to transition., just that they’re still plotting and trying to find ways to influence and disrupt trans healthcare.
