Here in America, the white power structure has done everything it can to keep itself perpetually rich and powerful. The Trumpian twist was Russia's direct involvement in choosing the Republican candidate - and then the GOP going along. It isn't just Republicans. Plenty of Democrats and Independents have enabled this. They, too have gotten fat off the power structure.
My question is practical applications. Actions actual people can take. I remain optimistic. I believe we can all still do something to stop what the power structure is doing.
This is just me talking to me. If I balk at the depressing state of affairs because they're so massively stacked against me, I'm done. I can't balk. I have to see the larger struggle beyond and work toward it regardless of the daily vicissitudes.
This is where (I think) we differ. I see the struggle and agree to engage with it. You don't see the point in it. Neither of us will ever know if we were right or wrong.
