The thing is, how does any other candidate claim any sort of legitimacy? Like I said, I think it's early to talk about replacing Biden, but if you want to talk about it, you have to be realistic about the options, the optics, and the legality/legitimacy.
So, hold a primary over 4th of July and hope 51 separate jurisdictions are willing to make a last-minute ballot change? Or accept that a ballot cast for electors for Biden and Harris means what it says it means under the 12th/25th?
