npub1v2sycpx32th4h4aude3jq4g0kgj0p2t5062059l0fx0vcn8njs8spcmqq5 (npub1v2s…mqq5) that's a mediocre op-ed that veers off into the national interstate vote compact. Actual news articles say that the problem is, due to GOP love of clusterfuck, NV has both a feb 6th GOP primary and a feb 8th caucus, and per GOP order only the caucus may award delegates for president. Mangolini and most of the other GOP candidates are registered for the caucus, but not the primary. No word on whether a voter who casts a presidential primary ballot is still eligible to spend the night hopping from table to table in the caucus clownshow.
Any state using a caucus is definitionally an undemocratic clusterfuck, but NV found a way to make it worse. Doesn't help that the NV GOP's leadership is under indictment for fraudulently sending in electoral college ballots in 2020.
