My New Year’s resolution is 640x400 at 70 Hz.
The VGA standard is better known for having 480 lines at 60 Hz, but 400 lines at 70 Hz was also supported - at the exact same line frequency of 31.5 kHz - and was often used for text. Ok so most text modes used 9 pixel wide character cells for 720 pixels at 28.32 Mpx/sec, but I prefer 640 px because that’s what the Neotron Pico does. Your BIOS probably used it during the memory count so it could show the Energy Star logo bitmap.
