🧵 (not for #sdfCAD yet unfortunately...), but it adds another dependency and is just friction. Inkscape is not super well suited for CAD drawings (e.g. precise dimensioning).

TL;DR: feel there is a need for a #CAD software that:

- is FOSS
- has both scripting and GUI editing as first-class citizens
- GUI changes get reflected in the code
- code changes update the graphical 3D view
- project is thus version-controllable and amazing for collaboration and iterating
