Agreed. I've been explaining it like this--
LLM/"AI" is a mimic program. It can create something that *looks like* a book on mushrooms. But the data and photos are recombined from copyrighted material in a new way.
It's all frosting, no cake. And the frosting might be poisonous--you can't know. Because the AI mimics. No research, no ability to research. Stolen info rearranged to not look stolen.
