1. What makes you think it is a "deep state project" and where is the evidence since you are the one making the claim? Why are you using Nostr if it is a "deep state project"?
2. I'm not saying Tor is perfect, I'm saying it is better than current alternatives. Why would they want to make their job harder? Why allow Tor at all? Btw, a well-known Monero community member rafael_xmr (npub1sae…kuqh) created Mostard if that helps.
3. All true. Encryption and the entire interent are government-affiliated creations. It doesn't necessarily mean they have absolute control over it or it didn't slip out of their hands to varying degrees. The popular AR-style rifle, that governments are trying to ban, was also a government creation.
