Every time I see someone complain about a chat app (or anything) having user-friendly features like “sharing chat history between devices” or even, in a few cases, “having an actual intelligible username so your friends can find you” because it “compromises Security™” makes me more inclined to use discord again (discord absolutely sucks beyond compare, but contributing to its network effect does make wide swaths of people upset, and lots of communities I'd like to participate in are on there already)
