Anyways in other news, I've been searching for contract work and I just got a call back today, setting up an interview for December cause I'm not really in a rush to change jobs just yet and I want to keep my options open also I'm going on vacation November.
I've been kind of memeing this idea of starting a private VPS service for fedi frens, but I still don't have my infrastructure squared away. The reason being, it's a significant capital investment to get internet that isn't shit and I don't want to beg for donos to promise a service I might not be able to provide. However if I get this new job I won't really need to worry about money and I can just rent a cabinet and put whatever hardware I want in it.
I don't mind running things at a loss as long as I'm having fun. I did purchase some processors a few months back but the seller never shipped them big sad.
