My son's school took his class on a trip to USJ, and it ended up being (predictably) a cluster fuck. No one got to ride anything because the lines were too long, and so they just wandered around for six hours in the heat.
My wife and I wanted to give him another chance, so we offered to take him for his birthday.
Unfortunately, we did that BEFORE checking prices. Holy FUCKING HELL, it is 25,000 yen *per person* for an "express 7" reserved ticket, the only one with the Mario Kart ride we both want to ride.
That's on top of the park entry price.
Luckily, we were able to convince the boy that a MUCH CHEAPER all inclusive trip to Okinawa would be as fun. So, Okinawa, here we come.
