I sometimes think of my life as being divided into the time before I read Ursula K LeGuin's "The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas", and after. I haven't read it in years, but just shared it with a friend so I took a few minutes to read it again, and now I have tears in my eyes and wonder in my soul. The courage to write like that, even to see the world like that. She was a gift and we probably didn't deserve her, but she sure did leave her mark. #SciFi
