That is sure a funny piece. The sign “Up With This We Will Not Put" certainly sounds funny and got me laughing. I see it's in this news story saying Churchill said this... https://www.npr.org/2024/03/01/1235354975/prepositions-are-permissible-now-will-english-language-be-ok
I don’t get how the humor relates a preposition at the end of a sentence since neither “…Put” or “We Will Not Put Up With This” ends with a preposition. I guess this might fall into - if you have to explain the joke it loses a lot of the humor.
