Just returned from giving a talk at the CT Parks Association meeting on climate resilience. Afterwards, we got a tour of the arboretum at Westmoor Park in West Hartford Connecticut, US, where they have a nice collection of trees including a still blooming Franklinia and a huge burr oak with these amazing acorns. The park has a hobby farm with sheep, tiny donkeys, Shetland pony, alpaca, llama, and what looks from afar like a single belted Galway.
