I can't really speak to his motivations or agenda, but given the ongoing array of pro-Nazi comments, supporting tweets, and actions combined with his family's history, and the larger history of his Afrikaner community (and the Dutch Boers before them), I tend to take him at his word. That these are his views, and that he no longer feels any pressure to conceal them. I don't deny that there could be some other, more calculating agenda behind it, but I learned a long time ago that when people show you who they are, and tell you who they are, believe them the first time.
