PGP is like your digital identity or SSN in a sense. If someone has your PGP they can basically be you online.
PGP is separate from bitcoin wallets but are similar in their use of public/private keys. It's possible that his private key is the same for the PGP and bitcoin wallet, although not likely as this is bad practice?
also i'm not an expert on the subject so someone please correct me or clearify
