PacificNic on Nostr: I feel like a benefit of getting away from neurotypical hierarchy and social systems ...
I feel like a benefit of getting away from neurotypical hierarchy and social systems for years is that I've really started to see how fucking violent they are. I spent years trying to fit in and years taking these people seriously but, really, most of them really didn't deserve my respect or energy. Their lives are shallow, their relationships are shallow and, really, most of them are amoral. I feel like the isolation has been a weird kind of gift. It's hard, too, but I've grown a lot through it.
That's not to say this is the case for all neurotypical people, but their social systems and relationships ARE toxic, on average.
