But, here on the Fediverse, there's this interesting thing that you don't have on the mainstream social media: they all interact with each other. And people often forget or don't know that. IMHO, respecting yours, of course, people are focusing too much on Mastodon and not stressing enough the Fediverse, which, in fact, is the only reason why there is Mastodon, in the first place. It's its "father", being its mother GNU Social, so to speak. I always feel strange when I see people not stressing enough the work of the thousands that created and support the Fediverse while giving too much emphasis to one of the newcomers, a son, which happens to be similar to a well known mainstream network, but which is also the most commercial one. It just feels like people wanting to reproduce here what they have on the mainstream media. But, perhaps I should just get used to it.
