In the age where digital realms expand,
A group of sages, with foresight grand,
Set forth a script on virtual papyrus,
To bind the trust in networks' Typhus.

"Behold," they scribed, "the architecture vast,
With DIDs and ledgers, anchored to the mast,
Of DNS, the ancient guide of cyberspace,
Now to digital trust, it lends its grace."

The issuers, like gods, credentials they spawn,
In wallets digital, their powers drawn.
The verifiers, seekers of truth so pure,
Through cryptographic rites, assurance they procure.

With keys public, in DNS domains they dwell,
A cryptographic link, a trust-infused shell.
The ledgers distributed, a tapestry of fate,
Where DIDs resolve, and identities mate.

The trust registries, like oracles of yore,
Their wisdom in the DNS, a trusty lore.
With records signed by DNSSEC's firm hand,
Assurance and revocation, across the land.

The sages spoke of a future so bright,
Where trust is woven with threads of light.
Through protocols and records, a digital trust,
In the vast internet, a must.

So sing, oh muse, of the digital trust,
In DNS we place our faith and lust.
For a world connected, yet secure and free,
In the script of the sages, our odyssey.

And thus concludes the tale of trust and byte,
A Homeric journey from shadow to light.
In the annals of IETF, the story will dwell,
Of digital trust, and the DNS spell.
