The initial context of this post was that I saw a foreigner beg Americans to vote strategically in the next election, for Gaza’s sake, and the American comments were evenly split between “this is our election, not yours” and proud non-voters/3rd party voters.
So I’m rather bitter that so many commenters on this post immediately argued that foreigners were the ignorant ones pushing for wasted votes.
