Earlier I entered a cafe, there was a guy on his phone about to exit but standing there blocking the way. A woman with a baby on a pushchair waiting behind. I looked a the guy like "move idiot", he took a while to actually move despite blocking everyone.

Then I realised he wasn't going to keep the door open so I quickly walked around them to grab the door and yeah, grabbed it just in time for it to not slam on the pushchair.

Then as the woman can finally leave, turns out the guy is now just outside in front of the door staring at his phone again blocking the path, until after a few seconds she finally had to ask him to move.

Situations like that always remind me how men are always taught and conditioned to just have no awareness of their surrounding and only pay attention to themselves, while women are told to patiently tiptoe around them.
