This is … weird. I’m far from a regex expert, but even to me writing an actual Regex seems far far easier than trying to remember this syntax. (Not to mention that it’s a portable skill.)
And don’t get me started on trying to read this.
Am I just suffering from ‘not invented here’ syndrome? Does this have an actual use case?
