Again, thanks for the education. However, Bitcoin mining centralisation seems to be a significant problem, I heard that 6 of the last 10 blocks were found by just 2 entities. The halving seems set to make even more centralisation inevitable.
Meanwhile, it is possible to run a Nimiq 2.0 validator on a 2 CPU VPS. Which feels a lot like going back to the days when Hal Finney was mining #Bitcoin with a CPU. Decentralisation seems a lot more do-able in this type of scenario.
I am vague on the specifics, but my recollection is that there are 33% and 66% thresholds under Nimiq 2.0. And maybe the closer equivalent to the 51% attack on Bitcoin would be a 66% attack on Nimiq 2.0 PoS?
