I have to look this up every year, after forgetting the name -the pink blobs on the lichen are Illosporiopsis christiansenii -a fungus that parasitises the lichen it grows on.
Apparently only bright pink in autumn & winter (fruiting bodies) but once you know to look for it, you see it everywhere (I’m in Scotland- your mileage may vary).
