#PennedPossibilities 500 — Break up your antagonist’s / villain’s life (thus far) into 3 chapters and give each of them a title.

Is she a villain? An antagonist? Or a long suffering hero, despite the evil she done (evil being relative, of course)?

Finding Purpose - All she wanted was to find a place for her autistic twin brother. She never suspected she'd have to destroy a civilization to achieve that.
Prolonging the Inevitable - Earth is dying and humanity with it. She realizes that if she works at it—every single day—and stays alive, she can prolong the fall for a very very long time.
New Hope Old Fear - There's a greater universe with other habitable worlds that might prove a safe haven for humanity, but there's also indications that it wasn't her who delivered Earth the fatal blow. Will searching for sanctuary reveal an ancient foe?
