I get to choose two artworks per session (we also take requests from residents but I haven't got those yet). The volunteer coordinator recommended choosing works which:
- are bright and colourful
- are figurative rather than abstract
- include people and/or animals.

Digging through the National Gallery etc online collection is going to be *such* a good time, but I'd love to hear any recommendations that might fit the bill from your favourites too!
