it continues to amaze me how incredibly smart and talented a lot of trans women are in whatever thing it is they're into whether it be art or music or programming or writing or the natural sciences, and often in more than one thing, and they even tend to do a lot with whatever they're into -- and all of this is in spite of being an extremely impoverished and marginalized class of people that is hardly ever given the chance to devote themselves to pursuing these things. it's almost always done for free while living on the margins of society barely managing to survive

it pains me to think of how much we could accomplish if we even just had fucking normal levels of immiseration
