I'm on a sick day today because I had a large cyst removed from my back. It was all rather more complex than expected, and it was interesting (and only occasionally painful) following the doctors' conversation as they worked the problem. And my mind wandered to how people feel when they're doing work like this.

When I left, I made sure to thank them, and then added, "I hope you found it interesting." They brightened up. "Oh we did!" said one. That's what I thought, as I smiled to myself.
