There's something really fucky going on with homekit... as long as I observe the shortcut, it sends http requests. If I stop observing it, it stops doing anything, too.

Honestly, the whole homekit is so painful to use at times, but it's also the only thing in the house that can collect the temperature/humidity data from all the devices (hue sensors, nest thermostats, apple homepods, and a very dumb lg aircon).
