Every single "DEI" hire hero recently introduced into the MCU in the last 5 years have all one thing in common - failed comic runs. Ms Marvel, Captain Marvel, Ironheart, etc all flopped harder than the paper of their books and needed MULTIPLE relaunches as Number 1s.
That's not even going over the attempts to try and get more readers by "diverisifying" the roster of Marvel by changing out who was Captain America, Thor, Hulk, etc.
The only one who seems to have stuck around is Miles Morales (aka: Peter Darker) who has no original villians and is basically Peter Parker but black.
tldr ver: Marvel and DC have been rubbing the "Pander Stone" so much, their hands are forever stained with glitter.
