today's curious #othernetworks fact: Community Memory is fairly consistently referred to online these days as a Bulletin Board System, even though it predated BBS software by 8 years or so. it actually seems to be an example of a use of a time-sharing computer via teletype. and here is my favorite image of a Community Memory kiosk--->
