Dunno what it is, but I've got a gay daughter and my mate I hung out with tonight - she also has a lesbian daughter - and I've got a lot of gay chaps and all the variations on this and genders in my fam, and I just feel so much more relaxed around them than I do with generic folk. Perhaps it's the trauma? The adversity? I don't know really. All I know is that I'm never more comfortable than when I'm hanging with the lesbians and the gays (sorry for saying 'the gays', but I think it's funny but in an inclusive way and I don't mean any offence). Is this a phenomenon? Maybe it's an ND thing? Perhaps it's just that people always seem to have an agenda but people who are NB or gay or trans or whatever - their agenda is always..... don't hate me? I maintain that the people who's sense of humour chimes most with my own are trans, and I suspect it's because they have/are dealing with so much shit that they have a highly developed sense of humour?
WHAT DO YOU THINK, FEDI? ARE TRANS PEOPLE THE BEST FUNNY PEOPLE? I realise as I type this it might be a tremendous mistake. But it's meant with love and openness. X
