They get very attached and it is assumed some of them like African Grays for example have an IQ equivalent to a 5 year old. They get really attached to one person and require their constant attention, play, stimulation or they develop serious, hard to fix psychological problems. They get bored or upset real quick. It’s a huge responsibility. Best kept with other animals that can help keep them stimulated.
