Consumer battles w FDA over labeling in early 2000s made some big gains including HFCS clearly stated.. but Monsanto was two steps ahead & rolled out fully subsidized GMO sugar beet which fell under negotiated allowed for "sugar" alone so look for "cane sugar" or plant source name they gotcha in the fine print!
